Clean and Green Pakistan was inevitable for the provision of healthy environment and to prevent most of the diseases, MNA Ch. Shoukat Ali Bhatti said here. While planting a sapling in the district complex, he said that trees provide fresh air to the human being as well as to provide beautiful atmosphere to the society by eliminating pollution. He called upon everyone to plant at least one tree to provide free oxygen to the society for better health. The DC Naveed Shahzad Mirza told him that 1,54,000 plants would be planted during the rainy season under the Prime Minster Clean and Green Programme in the district in and around educational institutions, offices, hospitals, parks, roads and on the banks of canals.
