Lahore Waste Management Company Chairman Riaz Hameed Chaudhary and Managing Director Aslam Rao met political leadership and representatives of provincial capital regarding Eid-ul-Azha Cleanliness Operation.
Senior political leader of Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf Ijaz Chaudhary followed by other political reps, GM Operations LWMC Sohail Malik, GM HR and Admin Farrukh Butt, Deputy General Manager Operations Asif Iqbal, Head of Communication department Jamil Khawar, GM Planning and Projects Rehan Paracha and others attended the meeting held at LWMC head office.
During the meeting the GM and the DGM briefed the participants on LWMC arrangements for Eid-ul-Azha 2020 and upcoming proposed solid waste management model for the city.
All respected participants of the meeting acknowledged the efforts of LWMC for the city and their plan for Eid-ul-Azha. The political leadership ensured their cooperation with the department during and after Eid.
LWMC chairman stated that department will follow the vision and direction of Government of the Punjab and will make sure that all the stake holders are on the same page for brining effective and visible cleanliness operation in the city.
The MD said that department has made a comprehensive plan regarding Eid-ul-Azha cleanliness operation and will act accordingly.
He also added that without the cooperation of public department cannot maintain cleanliness in the city. Later he also appealed the citizens to actively cooperate with LWMC and incase of their waste related complaint they can dial LWMC helpline 1139, can use mobile based application Clean Lahore or can reach us on our social media platform.
