The Punjab is spending Rs.360 million to complete different development schemes in for improving hygienic condition and drainage system the city Hafizabad. While addressing the meeting of Local Planning Board Hafizabad, Deputy Commissioner, Naveed Shahzad Mirza said that a sum of Rs. 240 million had been spent to complete pavement of streets, installation of street lights and procurement of machinery for cleanliness in the city so far. He said that 38 loader rickshaws were purchased for lifting garbage from roads and streets of the city Hafizabad. The Local Planning Board was accorded approval for launching construction work on new development schemes worth Rs.30 million in the district Hafizabad.
