The process of rain cleaning of nullahs has been accelerated in order to provide instant relief and save the citizens from any critical or sensitive situation.
These views have been expressed by Secretary Local Government (LG) Roshan Ali Shaikh while he was briefing Minister Local Government Nasir Shah about the recent development of Nallahs Cleaning process.
Roshan Shaikh told Nasir Shah that slit transfer process has continued without any gap or delay,”Dedicated teams have been deployed on the Nallahs where they are working 24/7 in shifts.
Officials of KMC, DMC and Solid Waste are working together to clear all the possible choking points and sensitive areas.
Slit transfer process is monitored on regular basis and no official is allowed to leave the site until the completion of the task”.
Secretary LG also briefed the minister about the installations of De Watering Machines,”On the identification from the DMC and KMC officials we have allocated the special de watering machines on designated points.
