Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmad on Saturday said that if India attempts to attack Pakistan, then it would be the last war. The federal minister addressed a rally against Indian oppression in Dhirkot, Azad Kashmir, and asserted that there would be no option of ‘conventional war’ available to Pakistan and warned about the consequences of the possible war with India.
‘No crops would grow in India, in case of an attack on Pakistan,’ he said, adding that the armed forces of Pakistan have been waiting for this day for the last 72 years. ‘I’m sure that Modi would not dare to attack on Pakistan […] the resolutions of [United Nations] Security Council are just vanished.’ While strongly condemning Indian unilateral moves in the region leading towards instability, Rasheed maintained that the crisis of Kashmir has reemerged by the acts of ‘Nazi Modi’.
The minister further expressed hope that with the struggle of Prime Minister Imran Khan, the Kashmir dispute would resolve. ‘China is firmly supporting Pakistan […] the entire nation is standing ‘shoulder to shoulder’ with Pakistan Army,’ he went on to say. Regarding Indian paramilitary forces’ atrocities, human rights’ violations and humanitarian crisis in the disputed Himalayan region, the minister outlined that stringent curfew has been imposed for the last 20 days by Modi-led Hindu nationalist Indian government. ‘There is a shortage of food and medicines [in the region],’ he said.
Meanwhile, another rally was carried out in Dera Bugti to express solidarity with Kashmiri brethren. He said if Narendra Modi starts a war with Pakistan then it will not be a traditional war but will be the last war. After this war neither any grass will grow in India nor will bell ring in the temple of Balaji’, Rashid said while addressing a Kashmir rally in Dhir Kot on Saturday.
He went on to say that ‘Hitler Modi’ has committed a mistake by altering the status of Kashmir. He said that Modi has kept the Muslims in siege for the last 20 days but he does not know that Laal Haveli – Rashid’s residence in Rawalpindi – is connected with Laal Chowk of Srinagar. ‘Soon the time will tell you this,’ he said. He held that Kashmiris have been sacrificing their lives since the last 72 years and now they are looking towards Pakistan.
‘When Miandad wins cricket match by striking a sixer against India, Kashmiris express their jubilation over the victory of Pakistan,’ Rashid said. He said: ‘our army was making preparations for this day for the last 72 years.’ While terming Prime Minister Imran Khan policies successful, Rashid said the entire international media is against Modi because Kashmiris are facing acute shortage of food and medicines. He said that PM Imran Khan will raise voice for the people of Kashmir in UN.
‘I give a message to Srinagar that whatever call comes from Srinagar that call will be for Imran Khan and for all. We cannot trust the US. As soon as Imran Khan said doors to dialogue have been closed then some persons are declaring it international agenda.
I want to tell these people Kashmiris are very intelligent people. They are not people of Palestine. Whosoever betrays the nation he will be thrown before the dogs. Now all Muslims should stand with Muslims’, online wire service quoted him as saying.
