(Wednesday, July 1, 2020). Fuel Agencies Association (FAA) district Tank Wednesday has demanded of the government to allow fuel agencies to operate their business saying district government and police has committed violation of the honorable High Court Stay Order.
Addressing press conference at District Press Club Tank, district president FAA Sardar Ali Khan, General Secretary Noor Ali and other office bearers of the association said that closure of Fuel Agencies across district by district administration and police was unjust and the decision has been challenged in the High Court Dera Isamil Khan Bench, they noted.
They further added that the fuel agencies were granted Stay by the honorable High Court on the point and the prosecution was underway but District Police Officer (DPO) has forcibly locked down all the fuel agencies across the district, they maintained. They blamed that the administration allowed Filling Stations for their business operation despite the fact that all Filling Stations of the district except four have no licence or any other legal permission.
