In view of frequent loadshedding across the country particularly the power crisis in Karachi, the federal government has removed Secretary Power Division Irfan Ali, an officer of grade-22 (Pakistan Administrative Service) and directed him to report to the Establishment Division.
According to a notification issued Tuesday, Irfan Ali is ‘transferred and directed to report to the Establishment Division with immediate effect until further orders.’
Secretary Board of Investment (BoI), Omar Rasul, a grade-22 officer of the Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS) has been posted as the new Secretary Power Division with immediate effect.
The Establishment Division has also notified transfer of Yousaf Naseem Khokhar a grade-22 officer of the PAS currently serving as Secretary Commerce Division to the new post of Secretary Interior Division with immediate effect.
Meanwhile, Special Secretary Commerce Division, Muhammad Sualeh Ahmed Faruqi an officer of grade-22 of the PAS has been posted as Secretary Commerce Division, says a notification issued Tuesday.
