Another youth killed while filming TikTok video

A youth in lost his life while making a video for the highly popular video-sharing platform TikTok in Karachi’s Korangi today (Sunday).
According to police, a 20-year-old Danish killed while three others were injured after their car smashed into a tree in Karachi’s Korangi area. All three were recording a video while driving, said police. The body and injured were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center.
On June 21, a teenage boy accidentally shot and killed himself while making a video for the highly popular video-sharing platform TikTok in Karachi’s Sikandarabad area.
According to details, the deceased boy, Tanveer, was reportedly filming himself while holding his father’s pistol when he accidentally pulled the trigger, killing himself.
Police officials had informed that the family refused a post-mortem and the body was handed over to the family after the completion of police formalities. The police further stated that the pistol was licensed and belonged to the boy’s father.
Earlier in April, a 22-year-old man died after being hit by a train while shooting a video at the Jumma Goth railway station in the Landhi area of the metropolis.
According to the police, Kashif had been running on the railway tracks while doing a TikTok challenge when the train hit him, causing critical head injuries.
In December 2019, a 16-year-old boy, Ammar Haider, was accidentally shot dead while recording a TikTok video with his friends in Sialkot.
