Advisor to Chief Minister Punjab on AI and Special Initiatives Ali Dar attended the inauguration ceremony of the 24th International Trade & Industrial Fair (ITIF Asia) as Chief Guest at the Lahore Expo Centre and formally inaugurated the exhibition. Speaking to the media on the occasion, Ali Dar said there was no room for corruption in Punjab under the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif. He added that even those making baseless allegations knew that their claims lacked substance. He said the Punjab government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, was committed to promoting transparency, merit and effective governance. He emphasized that practical performance and public service should take precedence over baseless political allegations.
Highlighting the importance of industrial growth, Ali Dar said industrial modernization, advanced technology and the promotion of local manufacturing were essential for strengthening the national economy. He noted that upgrading local industries would enable them to compete more effectively in international markets. He said foreign investment and international industrial cooperation would create new opportunities for Punjab’s economic development. Growth in exports and stronger domestic production, he added, were fundamental to building a resilient economy.
Ali Dar further stated that international exhibitions provide an effective platform for connecting local industries with global technologies, investors and new markets. He emphasized that technological advancement and industrial innovation could significantly enhance Punjab’s industrial capacity, productivity and export potential.
