Students Paintings Depict Atrocities In Indian Occupied Kashmir Masood

Opens Kashmir Black Day exhibition at Nazriya Pakistan Council

Former Azad Jammu and Kashmir President Sardar Muhammad Masood Khan has said that paintings by students vividly portray the suffering and atrocities endured by the people of Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir. He expressed these views while inaugurating an exhibition of students’ paintings and photographs organised by the Nazriya Pakistan Council Trust (NPCT), in collaboration with the Directorate of Electronic Media and Publications (DEMP), at Aiwan-e-Quaid, Fatima Jinnah Park, Islamabad, on October 27 to mark Kashmir Black Day.

Sardar Masood Khan appreciated the Council’s efforts to highlight the Kashmir cause through art. He also praised its permanent Kashmir Gallery and suggested publishing a collection of the powerful poetic verses displayed there to convey the message of Kashmir to audiences worldwide.

He observed that the Kashmir cause was deeply linked to the ideological foundations of Pakistan and recalled the immense sacrifices made by the people of Jammu and Kashmir over decades of struggle.

DEMP Director General Muhammad Saleem thanked the Nazriya Pakistan Council Trust for providing its premises free of charge for the annual exhibition. He underscored the importance of highlighting the Kashmir issue and expressing solidarity with the Kashmiri

people.
