ISLAMABAD – The Ministry of Religious Affairs has set October 20 as the deadline for pilgrims travelling under the government Hajj scheme to deposit the second instalment of their dues.
A spokesperson for the ministry urged all registered pilgrims to complete their payments by the deadline to avoid cancellation of their Hajj applications.
Pilgrims can pay through the Hajj portal operated by the National Information Technology Board (NITB) or the Pak Hajj mobile application. The available payment methods include bank cards, One Link and manual bank challans.
The spokesperson also said that pilgrims must download the medical fitness certificate available on the Hajj portal, have it verified by a doctor and upload the duly verified document to the portal as part of the mandatory requirements.
Pilgrims have been advised to use the Pak Hajj application to stay updated on the latest information, announcements and instructions regarding Hajj arrangements.
The ministry stressed that timely payment of dues and submission of the required documents are essential to ensure a smooth and transparent process for pilgrims. Authorities have urged applicants to fulfil all requirements without waiting until the last day.
Pilgrims travelling under the government scheme are advised to verify their payment status and ensure that their medical fitness certificates and other required documents have been submitted before the deadline.
