Other programmes, including Home Economics, Medical Lab Technology, Dental Hygiene and Physiotherapy Technology, recorded comparatively lower application numbers.
PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf said the digital platform had streamlined the admissions process and spared students the inconvenience of standing in long queues. He added that the data collected through OCAS was also helping the government make informed decisions and improve future planning.
Students can apply for admission through the official portal at ocas.punjab.gov.pk. The system, integrated with PayZen, also enables applicants to pay their admission fees through mobile banking, ATMs, debit and credit cards, TCS and branchless banking services.
