KARACHI – New Gold prices in Pakistan jacked up to Rs442,036, as international bullion prices continued to recover over weekend.
The price of 10 grams of gold also advanced Rs943 to Rs378,974, while silver gained Rs43 per tola to settle at Rs6,555.

The latest increase followed a sharp rise on Friday, when gold became Rs5,900 more expensive per tola, taking the price to Rs440,936. The international gold rate rose by $11 on Saturday to reach $4,195 per ounce, after gaining $59 in the previous session.

Silver prices moved higher alongside gold on Saturday. The local rate increased Rs43 per tola to Rs6,555, following Friday’s rise of Rs144, when silver reached Rs6,512 per tola.
The gains in both precious metals reflected the broader recovery in international bullion markets, although their prices can respond differently to changes in investment demand and industrial activity.
