Ambassador of China to Pakistan Jiang Zaidong along with his delegation called on Member of the National Assembly and former Chief Minister of Punjab Hamza Shehbaz Sharif, at the Prime Minister’s House on Thursday.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on bilateral relations, regional situation, and avenues to further strengthen economic and strategic cooperation between Pakistan and China.
Hamza Shehbaz congratulated China on its 77th National Day and reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to the One-China policy. He praised China’s enduring friendship and consistent support for Pakistan across various sectors.
The discussions focused on boosting bilateral trade and investment, particularly enhancing collaboration under the China-Pakistan Free Trade Agreement (CPFTA) and the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
Ambassador Jiang Zaidong commended Hamza Shehbaz Sharif’s efforts toward strengthening ties between the two nations.
