Security Forces Kill Eight Indian Sponsored Terrorists In Mastung Kharan Operations

PESHAWAR – Security forces have killed five terrorists and injured two others during an intelligence-based operation in North Waziristan.

The sources said the operation was conducted against members of Fitna al-Khawarij in North Waziristan and surrounding areas under the Azm-e-Istehkam vision.

Security forces had been closely monitoring the movement of the militants before carrying out the operation against their positions.

President Asif Ali Zardari praised the security forces for the operation, commending their bravery and professional capabilities. He said timely and effective operations were playing an important role in thwarting the plans of militant elements.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also praised the security forces for what he described as a timely and decisive operation against Fitna al-Khawarij.

The prime minister said efforts against the militants would continue until terrorism was completely eliminated, adding that the elimination of terrorism and establishment of lasting peace remained a key government priority under the Azm-e-Istehkam vision.
