Petrol Price in Pakistan gets lower for First Day of October

Petrol Price In Pakistan Likely To Hit Rs310 After Rs13 Increase

ISLAMABAD — Pakistan is stepping into October with fresh change in fuel prices, bringing some relief at petrol stations but leaving motorists with only a tiny reduction in the price of petrol.

The government axed price of high-speed diesel by Rs1.89 per litre, while petrol has become cheaper by just 14 paisas per litre under the latest monthly petroleum price revision. With the new rates taking effect from October 1, 2026, diesel will now be available at Rs400.35 per litre, down from Rs402.24.

Petrol, meanwhile, has been reduced from Rs387.54 to Rs387.40 per litre — a cut so small that its impact on the cost of filling a vehicle is expected to remain minimal.
