310 Covid-19 patients critical

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah on Saturday said the number of novel coronavirus cases is increasing in the province as the people are not adopting precautionary measures. He said that 38 more coronavirus patients have died. “At present, 13,623 patients of Covid-19 are under treatment out of which 12,565 patients are isolating at home.” The chief minister added that so far, 176,703 tests have been conducted out of which 27,307 returned Covid-19 positive. “At least 5,481 tests have been conducted in last 24 hours out of which 1,247 are positive,” he said. “Today 522 patients have recovered whereas 310 patients are critical. “Providing a breakdown of the number of cases in Sindh, CM Murad said that in last 24 hours, 215 cases have emerged in Korangi, 213 in district East and 183 in district Central, 180 in district South 180, 69 in West and 63 cases have emerged in Malir district. CM further said that in Ghotki, 29 cases have emerged, 24 in Hyderabad, 23 in Larkana, 22 in Jacobabad, 21 in Sukkur, 14 in Jamshoro, eight in Shaheed Benazirabad, seven in Sujawal and Khairpur, five in Qamar, four in Kashmore and Dadu, three each in Thatta and Badin while one in Sanghar. He further said that a total of 13,272 coronavirus patients have recovered.
