Pakistan has added another medal to its Asian Games tally, with the national esports PUBG Mobile team securing a bronze medal.
The Pakistani team delivered a strong performance in the PUBG Mobile esports competition, earning a place on the podium after two days of consistently impressive results.
The bronze medal takes Pakistan’s overall medal tally at the Asian Games to five.
The achievement marks another notable result for Pakistan in esports, as the country’s PUBG Mobile team maintained its performance throughout the two-day competition to secure a podium finish.
Earlier, Pakistan secured the gold medal in Category D at the World Chess Olympiad 2026 in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, after finishing at the top of the category.
The Pakistan Open team recorded victories over Seychelles, San Marino, the Cayman Islands and El Salvador during the competition. The team also played out draws against Egypt and Yemen, while suffering defeats to Colombia and South Africa.
Pakistan finished the Olympiad with 12 match points and 162 game points, improving its overall position by 29 places in the tournament.
