QUETTA – Security forces have killed seven terrorists in separate intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, security forces conducted an IBO in Bara and killed five terrorists linked to “Fitna al-Hindustan” were eliminated. A large quantity of weapons and ammunition was also recovered from the killed terrorists.
The operation resulted in the destruction of militant hideouts in the area, according to the security sources.
In Balochistan, security forces carried out an operation in Naukcha, Chagai district, under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3.
Two militants were killed after they allegedly set fire to an empty water bowser and attempted to flee, the sources said.
The two militants were also allegedly involved in arson attacks at various locations along the N-40 highway.
The security sources further said that 11 militants involved in similar subversive activities had been killed on August 31.
Security forces remain committed to eliminating terrorism and establishing lasting peace, adding that operations against militants will continue.
