Pakistani Foreign Office on Thursday confirmed that negotiations between the United States and Iran were continuing amid renewed tensions and fighting across the Middle East.
Speaking at a weekly media briefing in Islamabad, Foreign Office spokesperson Tahir Andrabi said discussions between the concerned parties remained underway, with a particular focus on the Strait of Hormuz and efforts to reduce regional tensions.
“Negotiations between the parties are ongoing, particularly on the Strait of Hormuz and to de-escalate,” Andrabi told reporters
