ISLAMABAD – The federal government has decided to appoint Ahmad Raza Sarwar as the new Federal Interior Secretary, replacing Khurram Agha.
Sarwar, who is currently serving as Additional Chief Secretary Punjab, has been approved for the key position, as Establishment Division has issued a notification in this regard.
The move is part of a wider reshuffle in the federal bureaucracy aimed at administrative adjustments.
Ahmad Raza Sarwar, who is an experienced government officer, is expected to strengthen the working of the Interior Ministry.
