ISLAMABAD – Pakistan and Kuwait are set to hold high-level diplomatic discussions as Kuwait’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah arrived in Islamabad, with the visit taking place amid growing momentum in bilateral defence and strategic cooperation.

Kuwaiti foreign minister reached Pakistan on an official visit at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, marking another important engagement between the two longstanding partners.
Upon arrival at Islamabad International Airport, Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah was received by Zahid Hussain, Additional Secretary (Middle East) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The visit comes amid strengthening Pakistan-Kuwait defence relations, with both countries moving toward enhanced cooperation in areas including military engagement, training, exchange of expertise, and institutional coordination.
During the high-level talks, officials from Pakistan and Kuwait are expected to review the complete spectrum of bilateral relations, while also exchanging views on key regional and international developments affecting mutual interests.
The latest diplomatic move highlights a renewed push to expand Pakistan-Kuwait ties beyond traditional cooperation, with defence, security, economic links, and strategic partnership emerging as key areas of focus.
