BHIMBER – Unofficial and unconfirmed results from LA-5 Bhimber-1 (Barnala) in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Elections 2026 show a strong lead for PML-N candidate Waqar Noor as vote counting continues.
According to preliminary results from 99 out of 176 polling stations, Waqar Noor of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is currently leading the contest with 19,032 votes. Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) candidate Chaudhry Pervaiz Ashraf is in second position with 15,493 votes, according to the latest unofficial count.
The results remain provisional and may change as counting progresses and results from the remaining polling stations are received.
