According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), a Shallow westerly wave prevails over upper parts of Pakistan. Weak moist currents from the Arabian Sea are penetrating northeastern parts of the country.
PMD Forecast
Mainly hot and humid weather is expected in most districts of the province on Monday night, Tuesday and Wednesday. However, rain-wind/thundershowers are expected at isolated places in Lahore, Gujranwala, Sheikhupura, Kasur, Sialkot, Narowal, Chakwal, Attock, Jhelum, Mandi Bahauddin, Hafizabad, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Murree, Galyat and Rawalpindi.
Temperatures Outlook
Daytime temperatures in Lahore are expected to remain between 35°C and 37°C on Tuesday and between 34°C and 36°C on Wednesday.
Past Weather
Over the past 24 hours, mainly hot and humid weather prevailed in Lahore and most parts of Punjab. However, Okara received 05 mm rain.
Lahore recorded a maximum temperature of 37°C with evening humidity at 57 per cent.
