ISLAMABAD – The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced that citizens applying for passports can use their digital identity card available through the NADRA Pak ID mobile application for identity verification.
In a social media post, NADRA said that individuals applying for a passport at any office of the Directorate General of Immigration and Passports in Pakistan or abroad can verify their identity information through their digital card if they do not have a physical identity card available.

How to Get Digital ID Card
NADRA explained that citizens can access their Digital ID Card by logging into the Pak ID mobile application. After opening the app, users need to select the “View Digital ID” option available on the homepage.
The digital card can then be accessed by selecting the Digital Card button, after which the ID card will appear on the screen.
According to NADRA, the digital identity card can be presented for verification purposes during the passport application process.
The initiative aims to provide citizens with a convenient digital option for identity verification and improve access to official services.
