According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), A low-pressure area (LPA) located over west of Rajasthan has weakened. Weak moist currents are penetrating the central and eastern parts of the country.
Rain Forecast
Monsoon rains are expected in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and parts of Sindh, Punjab, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, and northeastern Balochistan on Sunday night and Monday, with occasional breaks. Heavy rainfall is expected at isolated places in southeastern Sindh and eastern Punjab during the period.
Impacts
Flash floods are likely in hill torrents of Dera Ghazi Khan and local/nullah streams of northeastern Balochistan. Heavy rainfall may trigger urban flooding in Mirpurkhas, Umerkot, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sialkot and Sahiwal.
Strong winds and lightning may damage vulnerable structures such as solar panels, electric poles, and billboards.

Daytime temperatures in Islamabad are expected to remain between 35°C and 37°C on Monday and Tuesday.
Daytime temperatures in Rawalpindi are expected to remain between 34°C and 36°C on Monday and Tuesday.
