Germany offers visa-free entry for citizens of 62 countries outside the EU and Schengen Area in 2026, allowing eligible travellers to stay for up to 90 days without a visa, according to the Federal Foreign Office.
The exemption applies to tourism, business trips, and family visits during a 180-day period, but it does not permit visitors to work in Germany.
The list includes citizens from countries such as the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Japan, South Korea, New Zealand, and Israel.
Some eligible travellers may also be allowed to apply for specific residence permits after entering Germany, depending on immigration regulations.
