ISLAMABAD – The federal government announced a sharp increase in the ex-depot prices of petroleum products, raising the rates of both petrol and high-speed diesel by more than Rs13 per litre for the next week.
According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), the revised prices will come into effect from July 11, 2026.

The price of Motor Spirit (MS), commonly known as petrol, has been increased by Rs13.18 per litre, taking the new price to Rs310.71 per litre from Rs297.53 per litre.
Meanwhile, the price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) has been raised by Rs13.80 per litre, increasing to Rs323.30 per litre from the existing Rs309.50 per litre.
The revised ex-depot prices will remain effective from July 11, 2026, according to the Ministry of Energy’s press release.
