Whereas the nation is mourning deadly air crash of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight PK-8303 with 99 passengers on board from Lahore to Karachi, diplomatic community has also expressed grief and sorrow over the tragic incident and extended condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and prayed for speedy recovery of the survivors.
High Commissioner of Canada Wendy Gilmour in her message on social media expressed her shock and grief over the loss of lives in the terrible incident.
“So terribly saddened to hear about the accident in Karachi today. My heart goes out to all those impacted and their loved ones. My thoughts are also with the PIA family, with whom @CanHCPakistan has been working so closely over these last weeks,” said Ms Wendy in her tweet.
Japan Ambassador Matsuda Kuninori also expresses condolences to the victims of the Pakistan International Airlines plane crash in Karachi.
Following the Pakistan International Airlines plane crash Friday afternoon on in Model Colony Karachi, Ambassador of Japan to Pakistan Matsuda Kuninori expressed profound grief and sorrow over the tragic incident and condoled the loss of precious lives and damage caused to the properties, said an official press statement issued by the Japan embassy Friday.
Ambassador Matsuda expressed shock and grief at the tragic news of the plane crash and expresses his heartfelt condolences to all the victims and their bereaved families, the statement further said.
Ambassador of Palestine to Pakistan, Ahmed Ameen Rebai also expressed deepest condolences and sympathies to those who lost their dear ones in the PIA plane crashed.
It is indeed a great loss and we Palestinians are very much grieved over the loss of our brothers and sisters, said the Palestinian envoy. May Allah bless their souls eternal peace, and grant the injured ones speedy recovery, said the ambassador in his condolence message.
