KARACHI – Gold prices in Pakistan jumped again on Thursday amid a surge in the global market, which pushed local rates to Rs475,362 Per Tola.
In local market, the price of gold per tola moved down by Rs5,000 in a single day, climbing to an eye-catching Rs475,362. The sudden spike comes just a day after the market experienced a notable decline. The rate of 10-gram gold also recorded a major increase, rising by Rs4,287 to settle at Rs407,546.

The surge in Pakistan followed a strong upward movement in the international market, where gold prices jumped by $50 per ounce to reach $4,530.
Meanwhile, silver prices also moved upward alongside gold. The price of silver increased by Rs60 per tola, reaching Rs8,034 in the local market.
