OPERATION Bunyan-un-Marsus is a pivotal and heroic turning point for Pakistan because it was the most devastating moment in the country’s history.
It marked the most strategically decisive war in modern warfare. The war on May 10th was manufactured by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and RAW, with the largest and costliest amphibious operation to target Pakistan through unprecedented deep air strikes, drone warfare and a tense maritime face-off in the Arabian Sea. In this situation, Pakistan provided a highly calculated and multi-faceted strategic reply and India was no longer in a position to effectively fight on all fronts. Pakistan has taken punitive measures, delivered memorable actions for decisive defeat to India and achieved glorious victory and a pleasant reputation in the world. Pakistani forces have shown unparalleled cooperation, technical innovation and immense bravery, which together dismantled the Indian war machine.
The nation is calibrating this day as a successful achievement, pivotal victory and the beginning of the end of Narendra Modi’s nefarious designs against Pakistan. The event is marked by honouring Pakistan’s forces because they have shown exceptional bravery and solidarity. The forces have successfully defended the country and given a promising response to Indian brutal attacks. In fact, defence forces overcoming their formidable defenses, as referred by Pravin Sawhney (Indian analyst), Pakistan military emerged as an “Iron Wall” and deserves to celebrate decisive and dynamic success. So, the nation is paying tribute to their martyrs and highlighting national unity because forces have demonstrated a highly adaptive defense strategy. They used technological skills, AI-driven intelligence, a multi-layered air defense network and precision special operations to neutralize threats across multiple arenas. Pakistan’s war strategy shifted from passive defense to proactive and forces remarkably defended the country’s territorial integrity in a sophisticated manner and made it exemplary for the adversary.
Foreign media reported that India suffered arguably the greatest military defeat, particularly in the air war and created a devastating situation for the rival, significantly crippling its war efforts, infrastructure and morale. It was an event in which India was facing its worst time and its policies failed, based on a tapestry woven from strategic miscalculations, logistical nightmares and a rigid, often delusional outlook of its military and civilian leadership. The Washington Post has written that the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has shown overwhelming leverage and supremacy against the Indian Air Force (IAF) and successfully trapped the opponent’s superior power with Chinese-made J-10C jets, PL-15 long-range missiles and Erieye radar systems. In this regard, CNN and BBC mentioned that Pakistan brought down possibly five or six French Rafales and achieved a significant advantage against India. As per Hari Kumar reporting for The New York Times from New Delhi, Pakistan initiated cyberattacks to target Indian military infrastructure and completely destroyed India’s battlefield and strategic sites. Moreover, Pakistan shot down 25 to 35+ Israeli-made Harop drones launched by India over multiple locations, including Karachi, Rawalpindi, Lahore and other cities but failed to create panic. Pakistan also used UAVs, including Turkish-made Bayraktar and Chinese-made DJI Mavic Series and DJI Matrice 300 RTK, to target over 36 locations in India and neutralize Indian moves, which is perceived as Pakistan’s strategic and tactical victory.
Following Pakistan’s victory over India, the May 2025 war was heavily influenced and determined by superiority in the field of intelligence and code-breaking as a decisive factor to defeat the adversary in land and air space. Pakistani forces successfully turned down the opponent in high technological devices and broke Indian military codes, especially its strategic venues. As Army Chief Gen Upendra Dwivedi mentioned, Indian forces were not prepared to manage every level of escalation with Pakistan, but Islamabad beat India because of technological advancement, was crippled by internal dysfunction and leadership failed to understand the real strength of Islamabad. However, Pakistan fought the war with confidence and achieved a level of brilliance and effectiveness that ultimately surpassed the enemy’s strategic efforts.
The country has won the war through strategic innovations, effective training and superior logistics. Its command-and-control system enabled forces to rapidly target enemy positions and significantly increased the speed of strikes against the enemy’s infrastructure and strategic targets. Thus, Pakistan’s forces’ triumph is not just a result of planning and courage; it is also a story of Indian strategic failures. From falling for a masterful deception to a crippled chain of command and an inability to adapt to the realities of modern warfare, Indian political and military command made a series of blunders that cumulatively led to their downfall in the war. So, this day is not just a triumph of the country’s struggle on multiple fronts and shows unwavering determination, ultimately changing the course of the war and the event became the graveyard of Indian leadership hopes and their fatal dreams.
