ISLAMABAD – Murree has been blanketed once again as the fourth spell of snowfall of the season began on Monday. Light snowflakes gently started falling across the hill station, bringing instant joy to tourists, whose faces lit up at the winter wonderland unfolding before them.
Authorities immediately put all departments on high alert to ensure safety and smooth operations. District Police Officer (DPO) Murree, Muhammad Raza Tanveer, has issued strict instructions to the local police administration to handle the weather emergency efficiently.

DPO Tanveer confirmed that Rescue 1122 teams are deployed at multiple locations across Murree and that the Traffic Police are on high alert at key points to manage traffic and prevent accidents. He urged the public to avoid unnecessary travel during this period.
For tourists visiting Murree, he stressed that vehicles must be equipped with tire chains, and essential supplies like food, water, warm clothing, and blankets should be carried to ensure safety during the snowfall.
