LAHORE – Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s Hunarmand Naujawan Program is transforming the future of educated rural women across Punjab as applications open for Round 3.
Launched in collaboration with Punjab Skills Development Fund (PSDF), this first-of-its-kind digital skills initiative is exclusively designed for educated women from rural areas, enabling them to build successful careers from the comfort of their homes.
Selected candidates will receive six months of certified, instructor-led digital training, equipping them with in-demand skills for the modern job market. To ensure no woman is left behind, the government is offering a monthly stipend of Rs 5,000, along with a Rs 7,000 internet and device allowance, removing financial and technological barriers to success.
The program targets women aged 21 to 40 years, with a minimum of 16 years of education, who are residents of rural Punjab. Candidates must clear an entry test to qualify.
Deadline: Applications must be submitted by 20 January 2026.
This bold initiative is being hailed as a revolutionary step toward digital inclusion, economic independence, and gender equality, setting the stage for thousands of rural women to turn their education into real income and long-term careers.
