ISLAMABAD – Islamabad Police detained Farrukh Khokhar after allegedly discovering unlicensed weapons during a checkpoint inspection at Zero Point, officials confirmed.
Police sources claim officers stopped Khokhar’s vehicle and reportedly recovered illegal firearms, prompting his immediate transfer to the Aabpara Police Station along with the seized weapons. Authorities announced that legal action had been initiated under the country’s arms control laws, signaling what appeared to be a serious case.
The incident quickly gained attention due to Khokhar’s high-profile background. The son of influential Islamabad figure Taji Khokhar and had recently made headlines for joining the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) on July 18.
