ISLAMABAD – Cement prices in Pakistan saw a modest increase during the week ending November 20, 2025, according to data shared by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).
Cement plays a crucial role in Pakistan’s building sector, serving as the primary material for construction projects, from residential homes to large-scale infrastructure.
With rapid urbanisation and infrastructure expansion, the demand for cement continues to rise, driving economic growth.
The cement industry also supports employment and contributes significantly to the country’s overall industrial output, making it a cornerstone of Pakistan’s construction sector.
Latest Cement Prices in Pakistan
In northern cities, the average retail price for a 50kg bag of cement was recorded at Rs1,365, marking a 0.22% increase compared to the previous week, when the price was Rs1,362 per bag.
Meanwhile, in southern cities, cement prices experienced a slight decrease. The average retail price for a 50kg cement bag was Rs1,440, which is 0.09% lower than the previous week’s price of Rs1,441 per bag.
In Islamabad, the average price was Rs1,367, while in Rawalpindi, it was Rs1,355.
Other cities in the northern region, such as Gujranwala and Sialkot, recorded average prices of Rs1,400 and Rs1,350, respectively.
In Lahore, the price stood at Rs1,410, and in Faisalabad, it was Rs1,340.
Southern cities also saw variations in cement prices.
In Karachi, the price was Rs1,373, while in Hyderabad, it was Rs1,427. Other cities, including Sukkur, Larkana, Quetta, and Khuzdar, recorded prices ranging from Rs1,407 to Rs1,500.
