During an action Police have seized a huge cache of smuggled goods worth millions and recovered two Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs). On a tip off, police stopped a grass laden truck number EA 3006 near Gul Imam in the jurisdiction of Police Station Gul Imam and recovered 130 bags of non-custom paid American Almonds which were veiled under the gross. During an interrogation, the detained driver of the truck exposed location of Ware Houses where the almonds were being shifted.
A joint police team, headed by the DSP rural Muhammad Iqbal Baloch, DSP Headquarters Umar Daraz Baloch and SHO SMA Fahim Mumtaz raided the ware houses of smugglers in Khan Market on Dabara Road and recovered a huge cache of foreign smuggled products which included 300 bags of American Almonds, 30 bags Paan Supari (Betalnut).—INP
