A westerly wave is likely to enter in Pakistan on Sunday and likely to grip upper and central parts of the country that will resulted in a dust thunderstorm on Monday and may persist in upper parts till Wednesday. As per the press release by PMD, following weather is expected under the influence of westerly wave.
Rain wind-thunderstorm (few moderate to isolated heavy falls with hailstorm) is expected with intervals in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, upper Punjab (Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Chakwal, Attock, Mianwali, Sargodha, Bhakkar, Layyah, Khushab, M.B.Din, Hafizabad, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Sialkot, Narowal, Sheikhupura, Lahore, Kasur, Faisalabad, Jhang, T.T.Singh), Islamabad, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan from Sunday to Wednesday.
Dust-thunderstorm with rain is also expected in Quetta, Zhob, Barkhan, Kohlu, Loralai, D.G.Khan, Rajanpur, Multan, Khanewal, Sahiwal, Okara, R.Y.Khan, Bahawalnagar, Bahawalpur.—APP
