Jinnah Sindh Medical University has provided financial support to its 40 female students from Indian Occupied Kashmir as they have stopped receiving money from their homes, due to turbulence in IOK. The Indian Occupied Kashmir has been exposed to complete communication blockade for the past eleven days which severely affected the residents and their families presently outside IOK. According to Jinnah Sindh Medical University officials, the situation has also affected financial transactions between the concerned JSMU students and their families.
Vice Chancellor Jinnah Sindh Medical University Professor S.M. Tariq Rafi in a meeting with these students here Friday has assured them of the University’s full support during these testing times.
He advised them to concentrate on their studies while the University takes care of their local worries.
Kashmiri students, expressing their gratitude to the Vice Chancellor, have expressed hope for the peaceful and early settlement of the issue.—APP
