Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Senator Sirajul Haq has stressed upon the government to solve people’s problems and fulfill its commitments instead of raising non-issues and indulging in new
In a statement from Mansoora on Monday, he said that involving the nation in non-issues was an attempt to divert the people’s attention from real issues but the government would not be successful in it.
Sirajul Haq said that flood of price hike with the advent of Ramaza had shaken the people. The prices of fruit and vegetables had been increased more than hundred per cent due to which the worries of the people were multiplied. Instead of controlling prices and bringing relief to the people, he said, the government was raising non-issues.
The entire attention of the government at this time, he said, should be on facilitating the Sehri and Iftari of the people and on providing the necessities of life to the people on low prices.
Sirajul Haq said the prime minister had vowed to the people that he would not spare those responsible for the crisis of flour and sugar.
He said the masses were disappointed as the forensic report of the scandal had not come, and they were apprehending that the government was once against taking a U-turn on this issue as it did not have the courage to bring the flour and sugar mafia to accountability.
Meanwhile, HAMAS chief Khaled Mashal contacted the JI chief on telephone and enquired about the health of JI foreign affair chief Abdul Ghaffar Aziz.
Talking to the HAMAS leader, Sirajul Haq said that it was the duty of the Muslims all over the world to strive for the liberation of the Qibla-e-Awwal and Palestine and to support the oppressed Palestinian for this cause. Israel, he said, was an illegal state and the Zionists had unlawfully occupied Palestine. He assured that the JI would make every sacrifice for the liberation of the Palestine.
The Hamas leader thanked the JIP chief for his sentiments. He said that the people of Pakistan had always expressed deep love for the Palestinians and they (Palestinians) were highly indebted to them for that.
JI Deputy Chief Liaqat Baloch has said that the government was talking of an amendment in the 18th Amendment and changes in the NFC Award only to cover up its failures in controlling the corona virus.
