Following Israel’s early morning attack on Friday, which marked the formal beginning of open war, Iran launched a massive counter-offensive under “Operation Wa’ad-e-Sadiq 3”, firing more than 200 missiles toward Israeli territory — an assault that is still ongoing.
Israel had earlier targeted multiple locations inside Iran, including the residences of top military commanders and critical military and nuclear installations. The airstrikes reportedly killed key Iranian figures, including Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) chief General Hossein Salami, Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces General Mohammad Bagheri, Khatam-al-Anbiya HQ Commander Major General Gholam Ali Rashid, and six nuclear scientists, among other senior officials.
In response, Iran unleashed its heaviest missile barrage yet — over 200 missiles in four waves — causing widespread destruction in Israel. Israeli media confirmed the deaths of four civilians, while over 60 others have been injured.

Iranian media released dramatic footage from Tel Aviv, showing smoke plumes, fire-damaged structures, and emergency services responding to destroyed residential and commercial areas.
A video capturing the exact moment Iranian missiles struck parts of Tel Aviv has also gone vira which revealed the intensity of the blasts and the resulting chaos.

Earlier, Israel’s defense institutions had stated that the war with Iran could last at least two more weeks. Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to continue strikes on Iran, declaring that Israel would completely dismantle Iran’s missile production capability and refused to provide any time frame for ending operations.
On other hand, Iranian leadership vowed to continued their operation against Israel, saying that Israel started the war and committed a big crime which would not go unpunished. Iran also warned that it would continue to punish Israel until the war end.
