The Islamabad High Court expressed annoyance at officials of the National Accountability Bureau on Monday while hearing the bail plea of Omni Group chairperson Anwar Majeed, a prime accused in the fake accounts case.
A two-member bench comprising Justice Amir Farooq and Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani heard the bail plea. NAB failed to produce the medical reports of Majeed, which resulted in the court’s displeasure.
To Justice Farooq’s inquiry about the report, the NAB investigation officer said that he could not produce the report as flights have been suspended during the lockdown.
