ISLAMABAD – With Eid ul-Adhajust around the corner, railway stations across Pakistan are witnessing an overwhelming surge in passengers, especially Karachi and Lahore junction as thousands travel to reunite with their families for the holidays. Regular train ticket prices from Karachi to Lahire remain higher but government announce special three-day discount on train fares for festival.
Railways Minister stated that five special trains will run during Eid ul Azha as he highlighted major improvements in Pakistan Railways over past eleven months, including revenue generation from leased lands and planned outsourcing of Royal Palm through a transparent bidding process.
