Governor Imran Ismail visited Faizan Medina, the center of Dawat-e-Islami on Monday. He was accompanied by members of the Sindh Assembly Jamal Siddiqui and Khurram Sher Zaman. The Governor also visited the blood donation center at Faizan Medina administered by Dawat-e-Islami and reviewed the blood collection process for the patients suffering from blood diseases there.
Later, the governor reviewed the Coronavirus prevention measures and the provision of rations to deserving people by the Dawat-e-Islami.
Imran Atari, the official of the religious organisation, told the governor that blood donation camps have been set up at 13 places in the city where the Coronavirus is detected. Safety measures are being ensured at each camp because of the rush of donors, many are called the next day as a precautionary measure.
He further said that 40,000 ration bags have been distributed across the country and 40,000 in Karachi.
The Governor said that Dawat-e-Islami is taking effective measures for service of the nation in this difficult time. He said that Imran Khan is the prime minister of all of us and he is making sure to take steps to protect the people from the Coronavirus but everyone has to work together to stay safe. The Governor appreciated Dawat-e-Islami’s performance and working.
