TANK District Administration was extending complete facilitation to the traders but compliance of notified Standard Operating Procedures was also set mandatory, Deputy Commissioner Tank Fahad Wazir Said on Friday. A delegation of District Press Club Tank led by president Press Club Syed Shah Kundi called on Deputy Commissioner Fahad Wazir to apprise him about difficulties confronted by traders during the lockdown. Fahad Wazir noted that in light of provincial government notification, district administration allowed certain business operations however contemporarily compliance of announced SOPs was also being ensured in the district to avoid spread of Covid-19, he maintained. Sector Commander South Brigadier Neak Naam Baig has said that the role of Media in fight against Covid-19 has been vital as through public awareness only the pandemic of Covid19 can be controlled. Talking to a delegation of District Press Club Tank, led by President Press Club Said Shah Kundi, Brigadier Naik Naam Baig said that Public Awareness was the only key to stay safe of the pandemic. He noted that during the present lock-down, Pak Army provided 1500 poor families of the district with food and other relief goods while over four thousand families of the district have also been granted aid under Ahsas Program, he maintained. Brig. Neak Naam Baig lauded the role of journalists of District Press Club Tank for responsible reporting and standing shoulder to shoulder with District Administration and Pak-Army to combat the pandemic of Covid-19.
