Sharjeel Inam Memon, Sindh’s Minister for Information and Transport, has described the Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Expressway as more than just a road, calling it a transformative step towards development. The expressway, connecting Karachi’s urban hub to the M-9 Motorway, is a strategically vital link, he said.

Highlighting its benefits, Memon stated that the expressway will ensure smooth and uninterrupted access to the National Highway, providing equal advantages to businesses, travelers, and industries. “This state-of-the-art project by the Sindh government will reduce pressure on Karachi’s Road network while cutting fuel costs and travel times by up to 50%,” he added. The expressway will also facilitate seamless connectivity to key industrial and commercial zones like Dhabeji Special Economic Zone and Pakistan Steel Mills, enhancing ease of movement for goods and labor.
