Governor Sindh, Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori, expressed deep concern over the ongoing ethnic cleansing of Palestinians in Gaza, calling on the international community to take immediate action against Israeli brutality. The governor’s remarks came during a one-on-one meeting with Palestinian Ambassador to Pakistan, Zuhair M. H Darzaid, at the Palestinian Embassy in Islamabad. Governor Tessori reaffirmed Pakistan’s continued political, moral, and diplomatic support for Palestine, stressing the urgency of a two-state solution for lasting peace in the region.
He warned that any delay in addressing the issue could turn the Middle East into a “powder keg.”
He also emphasized that the people of Pakistan stand firmly with Palestine. Ambassador Darzaid, in response, highlighted the great expectations the Muslim Ummah has from Pakistan in championing the Palestinian cause.
