Turkish Ambassador Ýhsan Mustafa Yurdakul on Wednesday handed over 50,000 masks to Managing Director (MD) of Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal (PBM) Aon Abbas Buppi for the Pakistani paramedical staff who in the frontline of battle against Covid-19.
Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs, Ali Muhammad Khan and Head of TIKA, Gokhan Umut were also present on the occasion.
These masks are provided by Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA).
Ambassador Ihsan Mustafa Yurdakul said at the masks handing over ceremony the Turkish people had great love and affection for the people of Pakistan.
“TIKA has been working with PBM hand-in-hand for the betterment of vulnerable populace, today we are pledging to win the war against Covid-19 together,” the ambassador remarked appreciating PBM’s proactive response towards solving the national issues linked with poverty and diseases.
