Provincial Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah paid heartfelt tribute to Shaheed Benazir Bhutto on her Martyrdom Day, lauding her unparalleled contributions to Pakistan. In his message, he described her as a towering figure in the nation’s history whose sacrifices paved the way for democracy.

“Benazir Bhutto, true to her name, was an exceptional personality and a beacon of hope for Pakistan. Today, the democratic system we cherish stands on the sacrifices she made,” Shah said. He emphasized her unyielding courage, noting that, like her father and brothers, she remained steadfast in her mission even in the face of great adversity. Highlighting her achievements, Shah recalled how she toppled two dictators and emerged as a savior for the people during turbulent times.

He lamented the loss of unity caused by breaking the “chain of four provinces,” a vision Benazir sought to uphold. He further praised the efforts of President Asif Ali Zardari, who upheld Benazir’s legacy by raising the rallying cry of “Pakistan Khape” during challenging times. “Under the leadership of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, we will continue Benazir’s mission and work together to advance Pakistan,” Shah assured.
