ISLAMABAD – Around two-week winter holidays have been announced for all schools and colleges working under the Federal Directorate of Education.
The winter break will commence from December 28, 2024 while the educational institutions will reopen on January 13, 2025.
The educational activities for students and teachers have been suspended in order to save them from harsh cold weather.
Punjab Schools Winter Vacations Notification 2024
Punjab government on Tuesday officially announced Winter Vacations for all public and private schools across region. In a notification issued by Secretary of School Education, schools will remain closed from December 20, 2024, to January 10, 2025.
The winter break will conclude on January 10, and schools will reopen on Monday, January 13, 2025, after the weekend holidays on January 11-12, 2025. Despite the winter break, the existing restrictions on wearing face masks within school premises will remain in effect, ensuring continued health protocols.
A notification issued by Secretary education said “it is hereby notified that Winter Vacation in all Public and Private Schools in the Province of Punjab shall be observed with effect from 20.12.2024 to 10.01.2025. All schools shall re-open on Monday, 13” 2025 (11.01.2025 & 12.01.2025 being Saturday & Sunday).”
