Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon marked the 10th anniversary of the tragic APS Peshawar attack, describing December 16 as a black day in Pakistan’s history, one that remains forever etched in the hearts of the nation. Sharjeel Memon paid tribute to the martyrs of the Army Public School (APS) and commended the immense courage shown by the parents, teachers, and students affected by the tragedy. He stated that their bravery continues to inspire the nation in the ongoing fight against terrorism and extremism. Memon emphasized Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to eradicate terrorism and extremism.
Reflecting on the country’s progress since the attack, he acknowledged the significant reforms and measures, such as the National Action Plan, which have strengthened Pakistan’s resolve against such threats. “Our unity and resolve as a nation are our strongest weapons against terrorism.
The sacrifices we have made will not go in vain,” he added. Sharjeel Memon called for continued efforts to secure a peaceful and safe future for Pakistan’s children and future generations.
“We must keep striving tirelessly to ensure that such tragedies never repeat, and our children grow up in a world of peace and harmony,” Memon concluded.
